SYNOPSIS

Compelling governmental interest

R.C. 9.89

Specifies that the term "compelling governmental interest" includes an interest in protecting the public.

Removes preventing public nuisances from the category of interests that are explicit "compelling governmental interests" under the bill.

Expands from "physical data center" to "computational resource" the category of things causing public nuisances that a state agency or political subdivision can have a "compelling governmental interest" to remediate.
