SYNOPSIS
Paid family leave insurance
R.C. 3966.02 and 3966.12
Limits the insurers that may offer paid family leave insurance to those insurers licensed in this state to offer disability income insurance or life insurance.
Specifies that insurers offering paid family leave insurance are subject to all other applicable laws, except that the specific provisions of the bill supersede any conflicting general provisions of law that would otherwise apply.
Specifies that the Department of Insurance may adopt rules for the purpose of administering and enforcing the bill, as opposed to carrying out the bill's requirements.
