In line 23, after "party." insert "The Speaker of the House of Representatives shall consult with the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives regarding the appointment of a member of the minority party."

In line 28, after "party." insert "The President of the Senate shall consult with the Minority Leader of the Senate regarding the appointment of a member of the minority party."

Section 1

Requires the Senate President and the Speaker of the House to consult with the Minority Leader of their chamber with respect to appointment of one member from the minority in each house.
