A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Stewart’s Root Beer Drive-in on its Centennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Stewart’s Root Beer Drive-in on the memorable occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is, indeed, a fitting tribute to Stewart’s Root Beer Drive-in, for over the past one hundred years, this fine business has achieved a praiseworthy record of service. For a century, this seasonal eatery has gained the appreciation of countless patrons with its unique menu of ice-cold root beer floats, cheeseburgers, coney dogs, milkshakes, and more, all delivered by car hops, and it has continually demonstrated its exemplary commitment to the highest standards of quality; and

WHEREAS, The success of Stewart’s Root Beer Drive-in is a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the business itself but also on its astute management and hard-working employees. Due to their vision and initiative, this respected institution has earned the gratitude and appreciation of many satisfied customers, and they are truly deserving of high praise; and

WHEREAS, Over the past one hundred years, Stewart’s Root Beer Drive-in has enhanced the quality of life within Marion and the surrounding area, and it has distinguished itself as a true icon of the community. We are certain that as this worthy enterprise maintains its dedication to service and achievement, it will continue to prosper, and will uphold the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Stewart’s Root Beer Drive-in on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Stewart’s Root Beer Drive-in.
