A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Lawrence County Museum on its Centennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Lawrence County Museum on its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to the Lawrence County Museum, for it has attained a remarkable record of service to its patrons. Preserving and celebrating the rich history of the area, the Historical Society has nurtured the museum into what has become a beloved part of the community, and its many outstanding accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the museum but also on its hard-working staff and volunteers; and

WHEREAS, Since its inception, the Lawrence County Museum has witnessed many changes, and it now stands as a testament to the growth of the community over the past century. We are certain that as this worthy institution maintains its unfaltering dedication to service, it will continue in the tradition of excellence that has become its hallmark and has enriched the lives of its visitors; and

WHEREAS, An occasion such as this is an important milestone that represents dedication and commitment. For the past one hundred years, the stewards of the Lawrence County Museum have preserved unique pieces representing the community’s past, and on this special anniversary, they have accepted the challenge of carrying this history into the future; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, celebrate the Lawrence County Museum on its Centennial and look to its future with optimism; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Lawrence County Museum.
