A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Unity Spiritual Center on its Centennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Unity Spiritual Center on the memorable occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Unity Spiritual Center has been a welcoming community in Westlake for the past century, and this dynamic institution has served as a tremendous source of spiritual inspiration for countless people. Indeed, it has been steadfast in its mission to serve as a source of empowerment for all to embrace and express the Divine and share unique gifts to enhance the evolving world; and

WHEREAS, This auspicious milestone offers the members of Unity Spiritual Center the opportunity to share their memories and to reflect on the benefits of life in their close-knit community. Under the guidance of many fine leaders, these people have expanded on the best traditions of the past to ensure a benevolent and prosperous future, and they can be proud of the remarkable examples they have set through their values and principles; and

WHEREAS, The members of Unity Spiritual Center have stood strong in the face of numerous challenges, and they have had a positive impact on the lives of many local residents. This important centennial event not only represents their commitment to pursue a life of service and learning but also to keep fellowship alive in the Westlake community, and all those associated with this beacon of society are deserving of high praise; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Unity Spiritual Center on its One Hundredth Anniversary and offer best wishes as it upholds its rich legacy of faith and fellowship in the years to come; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Unity Spiritual Center.
