A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring Nathan Bright as a 2025 Division I State track and field champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud Nathan Bright on securing the 2025 Division I State Track and Field Championship title in the high jump; and
WHEREAS, This accomplishment is truly noteworthy, for Nathan Bright has clearly demonstrated his talent and perseverance, as well as his mental and physical fortitude as an athlete. At this year’s Division I State Track and Field Meet, he placed first in the high jump with a leap of 6 feet, 9 inches, and he has exemplified all of the characteristics that are essential for success, including courage, determination, and an innate sense of the principles of good sportsmanship; and
WHEREAS, In displaying such exceptional prowess as a senior member of the North Ridgeville High School boys track and field team, Nathan Bright has earned the appreciation of his fellow athletes, the devotion of countless fans, and the respect of even his most determined rivals. Competition in athletics has enabled him to learn much about dedication and self-discipline, and we take this opportunity to acknowledge his outstanding record of achievement; and
WHEREAS, Track and field requires exceptional physical talent and natural ability, and Nathan Bright is to be commended for his commitment to this demanding sport. In attaining his athletic goals, he has consistently exhibited the skill and integrity that are the hallmarks of a true champion, and he has a set a fine example for the next generation of athletes at North Ridgeville High School; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Nathan Bright on his tremendous performance at the 2025 Division I State Track and Field Meet and look to his future with optimism; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Nathan Bright.
