A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring the City of University Heights on the One Hundredth Anniversary of its city hall.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the City of University Heights on the occasion of the Centennial of its city hall; and
WHEREAS, This is an auspicious milestone, and celebration is certainly in order. Since its inception, University Heights has experienced dramatic growth and change, never relinquishing its appreciation for the worthiest virtues of the past, and its city hall has housed a variety of the area’s municipal offices and been a mainstay that has embraced the promise of a bright future; and
WHEREAS, The City of University Heights can be proud of its city hall, and this Centennial provides an opportunity to reflect on how the area has come together to enhance the quality of life within the community. We are certain that the city will continue to gain the esteem of many for its record of excellence, which is reflected in the public service offered within this worthy facility; and
WHEREAS, The One Hundredth Anniversary of University Heights’ city hall offers citizens the opportunity to share their memories and experiences and to reflect on the benefits of life in their close‑knit community. In making significant contributions to the culture of our state and nation, they have built on the best traditions of the past to ensure that the years ahead are filled with hope; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the City of University Heights on the One Hundredth Anniversary of its city hall and offer best wishes for ongoing peace and prosperity; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the City of University Heights.
