A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Archbishop Alter High School boys golf team as the 2025 Division II State Champion.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Archbishop Alter High School boys golf team on winning the 2025 Division II State Championship; and

WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the Archbishop Alter High School boys golf team have established themselves as truly exceptional competitors by combining talent and spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship. With admirable dedication, the Knights have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in golf, and as a result, they won their fourth consecutive Division II State Championship with an impressive 314 team total; and

WHEREAS, The achievements and leadership of the Archbishop Alter High School boys golf team are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on the golfers, their families, their school community, and their head coach, Alex Schuster. Indeed, in leading the team to victory, Coach Schuster has helped these athletes to develop great talent by instilling the valuable lessons of determination, perseverance, and camaraderie; and

WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total education of our young people, we are pleased to pay tribute to the exemplary athletes and the outstanding coach of the Archbishop Alter High School boys golf team for a job well done. The maturity and experience the team members have gained through their participation in sports will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Archbishop Alter High School boys golf team on its tremendous 2025 season and salute the members and coach as some of Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Archbishop Alter High School boys golf team.
