A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Meadow Tian as the 2025 Division I State Champion in girls golf.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Meadow Tian on winning the 2025 Division I State Championship in girls golf; and

WHEREAS, A senior member of the Olentangy High School girls golf team, Meadow Tian has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish herself as a truly exceptional young athlete. With admirable dedication, she has worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency on the links, and as a result, she posted an impressive 139 to win this year’s Division I State Championship in girls golf; and

WHEREAS, Meadow Tian’s accomplishments and leadership, both in and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection not only on her but also on her family, her teammates, her coach, Micah Conley, and the whole of the Braves school community. Her unwavering commitment to excellence has earned her the respect and esteem of many, and she is certainly worthy of high praise; and

WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay tribute to Meadow Tian on an exemplary season. Indeed, the maturity and experience she has gained through her participation in golf will greatly aid her in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Meadow Tian on securing the 2025 Division I State Championship in girls golf and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Meadow Tian.
