A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Dwyer School of Irish Dance’s Dance Drama team as a 2025 North American Irish Dance Champion.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the Dwyer School of Irish Dance’s Dance Drama team on winning first place at the 2025 North American Irish Dance Championships; and

WHEREAS, The talented individuals who make up the Dwyer School of Irish Dance’s Dance Drama team are, indeed, to be commended for their remarkable fitness and competitive drive, qualities which have figured prominently in the squad’s impressive performance at the 2025 North American Irish Dance Championships. To their credit, the team members could always be counted on to execute even the most demanding routines with agility, precision, exuberance, and grace, and as a result, they secured first place with a grand total score of 300 points; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Dwyer School of Irish Dance’s Dance Drama team have trained diligently in order to ensure peak physical and mental conditioning, and their exceptional prowess has earned them many admirers. Participation in this exciting activity has enabled them to learn much about creative expression, self‑discipline, leadership, and dedication, and clearly, the experience they have acquired is certain to benefit them in the years to come; and

WHEREAS, All those associated with the Dwyer School of Irish Dance’s Dance Drama team have served as an inspiration to their peers, and they are truly deserving of high praise. They can be proud of their success at the 2025 North American Irish Dance Championships for their outstanding skill in the dignified art of Irish dance; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Dwyer School of Irish Dance’s Dance Drama team on its exemplary achievement and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Dwyer School of Irish Dance’s Dance Drama team.
