A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring Brice Fuller on winning the 2025 Division III State Cross Country Championship.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Brice Fuller as the 2025 Division III State Champion in boys cross country; and
WHEREAS, This accomplishment is truly noteworthy, for Brice Fuller has clearly demonstrated his talent and perseverance, as well as his mental and physical fortitude as a long-distance runner. He won this year’s Division III State Championship with a record-setting time of 14:52.76, and he has exemplified all of the characteristics that are essential for success both in and out of the sports world, including courage, determination, and an innate sense of the principles of good sportsmanship; and
WHEREAS, In displaying such exceptional prowess as a sophomore member of the Fairless High School cross country team, Brice Fuller has earned the appreciation of his fellow athletes, the devotion of countless fans, and the respect of even his most determined rivals. Competition in athletics has enabled him to learn much about dedication and self-discipline, and we take this opportunity to acknowledge his exceptional record of achievement; and
WHEREAS, Long-distance running is an event that requires exceptional stamina and natural ability, and Brice Fuller is to be commended for his commitment to this demanding activity. In attaining his athletic goals, he has consistently exhibited the skill and integrity that are the hallmarks of a true champion; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Brice Fuller on securing the 2025 Division III State Cross Country Championship and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Brice Fuller.
