A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Norwalk High School cheer team as the 2025 OHSCCA Division III Best in the State Champion.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the Norwalk High School cheer team on securing the 2025 Ohio High School Cheerleading Coaches Association Division III Best in the State title in the build category; and

WHEREAS, The Norwalk High School cheer team has accomplished a tremendous feat in securing this title, and this achievement marks the culmination of countless hours spent in practice and preparation. The Truckers’ strong performance, combined with an adept drive to succeed, has led the squad to this outstanding victory, and the group has earned the appreciation and admiration of many; and

WHEREAS, The accomplishments and development of the Norwalk High School cheer team are fine examples of what can be attained by a group of hard-working young people supported by a dedicated coaching staff such as the one led by Malorie Kocher. Throughout extensive conditioning and training, the members have developed into dynamic competitors, and they are deserving of acknowledgement; and

WHEREAS, With great admiration, we congratulate the athletes who comprise the Norwalk High School cheer team, for they have overcome many formidable opponents and displayed tremendous prowess. Indeed, we are confident that as they meet their future challenges, they will take with them the lessons of camaraderie, diligence, and discipline; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, heartily applaud the Norwalk High School cheer team as the 2025 OHSCCA Division III Best in the State Champion in the build category and praise the strength of these athletes; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Norwalk High School cheer team.
