Honoring David’s Cemetery on its Bicentennial.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate David’s Cemetery on the auspicious occasion of its Two Hundredth Anniversary; and
WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to David’s Cemetery, for throughout the past two centuries, it has attained a remarkable record of professionalism. Over the years, the cemetery has expanded several times, now encompassing more than fifty-five acres, and it is co-owned by all those buried there and others who have not yet exercised their burial rights; and
WHEREAS, The success of David’s Cemetery is a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the corporation itself but also on its astute management and hard‑working employees. Offering a variety of burial and cremation options as well as support, comfort, and dignified ceremonies, this outstanding establishment has helped countless people cope with one of the most difficult parts of their lives, the death of a loved one; and
WHEREAS, Time and again, David’s Cemetery has earned a well-deserved reputation for compassion by providing assistance and concern to individuals and families in their time of bereavement. This noteworthy enterprise has maintained an unfaltering investment in the community for two hundred years, and we are certain that it will continue to uphold the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; therefore be it
