A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Addie Kash as a 2025 Division II State Track and Field Champion.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Addie Kash on winning the 2025 Division II State Championship in the girls pole vault; and

WHEREAS, A diligent and capable individual, Addie Kash is deserving of recognition for her exemplary accomplishments as a junior member of the Oakwood High School girls track and field team. An exceptional athlete, she placed first in the pole vault at this year’s Division II State Meet with a height of 12 feet, 4 inches, and her notable record of personal achievement stands as a hallmark for others; and

WHEREAS, Through her participation in sports, Addie Kash has learned important lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and good sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to her throughout her life. Through her outstanding efforts, she has inspired countless people to excel in various areas of endeavor, and she has set an example worthy of emulation; and

WHEREAS, In a society that seeks to teach the future leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards of individual effort, athletic competition has become a valuable educational tool. With sports contributing to the development of countless youth, we are happy to congratulate such a fine athlete as Addie Kash; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to Addie Kash on winning the 2025 Division II State Championship in the girls pole vault and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Addie Kash.
