A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring The University of Toledo women’s volleyball team as the 2025 Mid-American Conference Champion.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to The University of Toledo women’s volleyball team on securing the 2025 Mid‑American Conference Championship; and

WHEREAS, The University of Toledo women’s volleyball team has achieved a tremendous feat in winning its first MAC title in program history, and the culmination of an exemplary season was marked by a berth in the NCAA Tournament. The Rockets’ strong performance, combined with an adept drive to succeed, has led the squad to this outstanding victory, and the group has earned the appreciation and admiration of many; and

WHEREAS, The accomplishments and development of The University of Toledo women’s volleyball team are fine examples of what can be attained by a group of hard-working young people supported by a dedicated coaching staff such as the one led by Brian Wright. Throughout extensive conditioning and training, the members have developed into dynamic competitors, and they are deserving of acknowledgement; and

WHEREAS, With great admiration, we congratulate the athletes who comprise The University of Toledo women’s volleyball team, for they have overcome many formidable opponents and displayed tremendous prowess. Indeed, we are confident that as they meet their future challenges, they will take with them the lessons of camaraderie, diligence, and discipline; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, heartily applaud The University of Toledo women’s volleyball team as the 2025 Mid-American Conference Champion and praise the strength of this program and its participating athletes; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to The University of Toledo women’s volleyball team.
