A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Liberty Center High School football team on securing the 2025 Division V State Championship.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud the Liberty Center High School football team as the 2025 Division V State Champion; and

WHEREAS, The Liberty Center High School football team is made up of remarkable athletes who have worked diligently to showcase the collective talents of their exceptional squad. At this year’s Division V State final, the Tigers won the second title in program history and finished the season with a perfect 15-0 record, and the members amply demonstrated impressive determination, maturity, and finesse in pursuit of these achievements; and

WHEREAS, This triumph reflects the staunch resolve of these young individuals, and it signifies the acquisition of valuable experience that is sure to benefit them in later life. Thanks to the tireless efforts of an exceptional Liberty Center High School football team coaching staff, including Head Coach Casey Mohler, as well as the support of their Tigers community, these athletes have met the demands of an extensive training regimen, and they have just cause for celebration; and

WHEREAS, All those who comprise the Liberty Center High School football team have set an excellent example of what a dedicated group of athletes can achieve when guided by a committed coaching staff and surrounded by loyal fans, sports families, and boosters. These young competitors have certainly proven themselves to be dynamic athletic leaders, and we are confident that as they meet future challenges, they will take with them the valuable lessons they have gained through their participation in football; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the Liberty Center High School team on its 2025 Division V State Championship title and count its players and coaches among the ranks of outstanding Ohioans; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Liberty Center High School team.
