A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Esther Price Candies on its One Hundredth Anniversary.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Esther Price Candies on its Centennial; and

WHEREAS, Over the years, the management and staff of Esther Price Candies have consistently demonstrated exemplary professionalism and expertise, as well as an unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest industry standards. The tremendous effort and initiative displayed by the employees have been instrumental in the success of the venture, and the dedication of its proprietors is certainly worthy of acknowledgement; and

WHEREAS, It is not surprising that Esther Price Candies has achieved renown, for since it was founded in 1926 by Esther Price, it has not only striven to provide customers with a variety of delicious candies handcrafted from high-quality ingredients, but it has also been an important part of the Dayton community. Indeed, it exemplifies the American entrepreneurial spirit and sets the benchmark to which other such enterprises can aspire; and

WHEREAS, Ohio’s economic well-being depends on innovative business entrepreneurs to provide goods and services to the citizens of our state. We are proud to note that it is through the diligence of individuals such as all those associated with Esther Price Candies, who are willing to invest in the future of their community, that the State of Ohio remains a pleasant place in which to live and work; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Esther Price Candies on the occasion of its Centennial and offer best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Esther Price Candies.
