A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Kayla Moroschan on winning a 2026 State Wrestling Championship.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Kayla Moroschan as the 2026 State Champion in girls wrestling in the 125-pound weight class; and

WHEREAS, A diligent and capable individual, Kayla Moroschan is deserving of recognition for her exemplary accomplishments as a junior member of the Chippewa High School girls wrestling team. An exceptional athlete, she won first place in the 125-pound weight class at this year’s state tournament, securing her second state title in three years, and her noteworthy record of personal achievement stands as a hallmark for others; and

WHEREAS, Through her participation in wrestling, Kayla Moroschan has learned important lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and good sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to her throughout her life. To her credit, she has inspired countless people to excel in various areas of endeavor, and she has set an example worthy of emulation; and

WHEREAS, In a society that seeks to teach the future leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards of individual effort, athletic competition has become a valuable educational tool. With sports contributing to the development of countless youth, we are delighted to congratulate such a fine wrestler as Kayla Moroschan; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Kayla Moroschan on her State Wrestling Championship and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Kayla Moroschan.
