A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Rylan Seacrist as a Division I State wrestling champion.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud Rylan Seacrist on winning first place in the 113-pound weight class at the 2026 Division I State Wrestling Meet; and

WHEREAS, Rylan Seacrist has proven to be a talented and superbly conditioned athlete who has gained the respect of fans and opponents alike for his spirited and highly motivated performance in wrestling. Throughout the season, he has worked diligently to improve his skills on the mat, and as a result, he accomplished his goal of winning the Division I State Championship in the 113-pound weight class for the second consecutive year; and

WHEREAS, Known as a driven and determined individual, Rylan Seacrist has developed into a remarkably dedicated and efficient wrestler whose skill is equaled only by his exemplary display of sportsmanship. Indeed, he is a credit not only to his family and Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School but also to the superb leadership of his coaches; and

WHEREAS, The road to victory is a difficult one, requiring ability, endurance, and a positive attitude on the part of athletes and coaches alike. In all of his sports endeavors, Rylan Seacrist has overcome a variety of challenges, and his tremendous efforts have earned him the admiration of all those who have witnessed him in action; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, salute Rylan Seacrist on his brilliant wrestling season and wish him the best in the years to come; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Rylan Seacrist.
