A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Ruby Remati as the 2026 U.S. Collegiate Champion in the artistic swimming A figures event.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize Ruby Remati on securing first place at the 2026 U.S. Collegiate Championships in the artistic swimming A figures event; and

WHEREAS, Displaying exceptional form, ability, leadership, and dedication during the 2025-2026 season, Ruby Remati has certainly distinguished herself as one of the most talented artistic swimmers in the country. Previously winning the national A figures title in 2023 and 2025, she amassed a score of 84.6860 to win the A figures crown and was selected as the Collegiate Athlete of the Year at the 2026 U.S. Collegiate Championships; and

WHEREAS, Throughout intense training and preparation, Ruby Remati has consistently demonstrated the talent, integrity, and motivation that are the hallmarks of a true champion. To her credit, she could always be counted on not only to shine individually but also to contribute significantly to her teammates' collective effort; and

WHEREAS, A senior at The Ohio State University, Ruby Remati is truly worthy of acknowledgement for the formidable athletic gifts and the competitive spirit that she has so amply revealed throughout this past season. She has inspired her teammates, thrilled her fans, gained the respect of her opponents, and made her coaches and family very proud; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Ruby Remati on her impressive artistic swimming accomplishments and wish her a bright, rewarding future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Ruby Remati.
