A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Mark Lamoncha as the 2026 National Small Business Person of the Year.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Mark Lamoncha on receiving the 2026 National Small Business Person of the Year Award from the U.S. Small Business Administration; and

WHEREAS, Mark Lamoncha's distinguished credentials readily explain why he was chosen as the recipient of this honor, a tribute to him for exemplifying excellence in his professional endeavors. The president and chief executive officer of Humtown, he has brought insight and exceptional ability to his important work, and his name has become virtually synonymous with initiative, integrity, and intelligence. Considering his productive efforts, it is no surprise that he has won a host of admirers; and

WHEREAS, Known throughout the area as an exceptional community member, Mark Lamoncha has demonstrated commendable devotion and concern to his friends and neighbors, and has earned the respect and gratitude of all those who have come to know him. His superlative work is the hallmark of outstanding citizenship, and he has demonstrated the potential of individuals to have a positive effect on the quality of life in our society; and

WHEREAS, It is through the unsurpassed efforts and unparalleled commitment of individuals such as Mark Lamoncha that our nation continues to thrive and flourish. He has earned a well-deserved reputation for his business acumen, and he is deserving of applause for his concerted efforts to turn Humtown into North America's leading producer of 3D-printed sand molds and cores; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Mark Lamoncha on being named the 2026 National Small Business Person of the Year Award and anticipate his continued contributions to our state; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Mark Lamoncha.
