A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Midwest Cheer Elite Toledo Sci-Fi Squad as a 2026 All-Star Worlds Champion.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Midwest Cheer Elite Toledo Sci-Fi Squad on its success at the 2026 All-Star Worlds Championship; and

WHEREAS, The talented members of the Midwest Cheer Elite Toledo Sci-Fi Squad are to be commended for their remarkable skill and teamwork, and these qualities figured prominently as they excelled in national competition. At this year's All-Star Worlds Championship in Orlando, Florida, the team won first place in the Senior Co Ed Medium Level 3 division and earned a gold medal, the first in studio history; and

WHEREAS, Under the expert guidance of their instructors at Midwest Cheer Elite Toledo, the members of the Sci-Fi Squad trained diligently in order to ensure peak physical and mental conditioning, and their exceptional prowess has earned them many admirers. Participation in cheer has enabled these young Ohioans to learn much about creative expression, self-discipline, leadership, and dedication, and they are worthy of recognition for receiving accolades at the national level; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Midwest Cheer Elite Toledo Sci-Fi Squad have amply showcased their enthusiastic spirit and athleticism, and to their credit, they could always be counted on to execute even the most demanding routines with agility, precision, and exuberance. Indeed, these fine performers have not only been outstanding ambassadors for the club but have also demonstrated the talent and motivation that are the hallmarks of true champions; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the Midwest Cheer Elite Toledo Sci-Fi Squad for its tremendous national achievement and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Midwest Cheer Elite Toledo Sci-Fi Squad.
