A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Graceworks Lutheran Services on its One Hundredth Anniversary.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Graceworks Lutheran Services as it celebrates its Centennial; and

WHEREAS, This is, indeed, an important occasion, and it provides an ideal time to acknowledge the exceptional work done by Graceworks Lutheran Services. Established in 1926, the nonprofit has engaged in an array of worthwhile activities and projects that have met a number of local needs, and this organization's impressive contributions to the community readily explain why it is so widely held in high esteem; and

WHEREAS, Since its inception, Graceworks Lutheran Services has demonstrated great adaptability in adjusting its goals and objectives to align with the changing needs of the surrounding community. To its credit, the organization currently sponsors a variety of support programs for older adults and people with developmental disabilities, and it has gained the gratitude and appreciation of many. We are certain that as this exemplary agency maintains its unfaltering dedication to service, it will continue in the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; and

WHEREAS, All those associated with Graceworks Lutheran Services are to be commended for their foresight, commitment, and selfless donations of time, energy, and ability far beyond what were required or expected. These fine people have earned the respect and admiration of many and have set an example of concerned and responsible citizenship that is worthy of emulation; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Graceworks Lutheran Services on its record of service and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Graceworks Lutheran Services.
