A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Baldwin Wallace University baseball team on its 2026 conference, regional, and super regional championships.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Baldwin Wallace University baseball team on winning the 2026 Ohio Athletic Conference, NCAA Division III Decatur Regional, and NCAA Division III Super Regional tournament championships; and

WHEREAS, The Baldwin Wallace University baseball team has proven to be a talented and superbly conditioned squad and has gained the respect of fans and opponents alike for the spirited and highly motivated performance of its members. Throughout the season, the athletes worked diligently to improve their skills on the diamond, and consequently, the Yellow Jackets accomplished several goals, including bringing home this year's Ohio Athletic Conference, NCAA Division III Decatur Regional, and NCAA Division III Super Regional tournament championships and advancing to the NCAA Division III College World Series, and compiled a tremendous 37-12 record; and

WHEREAS, Known as a driven and determined team, the Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets have developed into a remarkably efficient group of players whose skill is equaled only by their exemplary display of teamwork. They are a credit not only to their families and their school but also to the superb leadership of their head coach, Brian Harrison, and his assistants; and

WHEREAS, The road to victory is a difficult one, requiring ability, endurance, and a positive attitude on the part of players and coaches alike. The members of the Baldwin Wallace University baseball team have exemplified the characteristics that are essential for success both in and out of competition, including courage, discipline, integrity, and good sportsmanship, and their efforts have earned them the admiration of all those who have witnessed these outstanding athletes in action; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, salute the Baldwin Wallace University baseball team on its brilliant 2026 season and offer best wishes for the years to come; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Baldwin Wallace University baseball team.
