A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring Ester Kravchenko as the winner of the 2025 ESOL Classroom Writing Contest.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Ester Kravchenko on winning first place in Category 1 of the 2025 ESOL Classroom Writing Contest; and
WHEREAS, Ester Kravchenko is truly worthy of recognition for her performance in the ESOL Classroom Writing Contest, where she wrote about her experience of coming to the United States from Ukraine. Her essay revealed a number of inspirational strengths, and without question, her accomplishment reflects clarity of purpose and a capacity for great success; and
WHEREAS, This contest celebrates the compelling ideals and boundless enthusiasm of our nation's youth, and it is an opportunity to showcase the wealth of kindness, courage, and industriousness in their ranks. Indeed, Ester Kravchenko is a reflection of the many ways in which society is enriched by the dedication and vision found among tomorrow's leaders, and by earnestly pursuing her personal goals, she has set an outstanding example for others; and
WHEREAS, Ester Kravchenko has amply demonstrated her ability to meet challenges with enthusiasm and confidence, and she has displayed an exceptional willingness to work hard to achieve superior results. She has exhibited a sincere desire to do her best in all of her endeavors so that she might positively impact our world, and this, coupled with her maturity and initiative, shows her potential; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Ester Kravchenko on her impressive achievement and extend best wishes for a bright, rewarding future; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Ester Kravchenko.
