A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Stephen T. Badin High School baseball team as the 2026 Division III State Champion.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Stephen T. Badin High School baseball team on winning the 2026 Division III State Championship; and

WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the Stephen T. Badin High School baseball team have combined talent and spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish themselves as truly exceptional competitors. With admirable dedication, the Rams have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in baseball, and as a result, they defeated Bishop Watterson by the score of 7-2 to win this year's Division III State Championship; and

WHEREAS, The Rams' achievements and leadership are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on the players, their families, their school, their community, and their coaches. In leading their team to victory, Coach Brion Treadway and his assistants have not only helped the athletes to develop their talents to the fullest but have also instilled in them a valuable sense of determination, perseverance, and camaraderie; and

WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total education of our young people, we are overjoyed to pay tribute to the exemplary athletes and the outstanding coaches who comprise the Stephen T. Badin High School baseball team for a job well done. The maturity and experience the members have gained through their participation in sports will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Stephen T. Badin High School baseball team on its tremendous season and salute the members and coaches as some of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Stephen T. Badin High School baseball team.
