A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Brice Fuller as a 2026 Division IV State Track and Field Champion.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud Brice Fuller as the winner of the gold medal in the 1,600-meter event at the 2026 Division IV Track and Field State Championship meet; and

WHEREAS, A celebrated student-athlete at Fairless High School, Brice Fuller is deserving of acknowledgement for his exemplary performance at this year's Division IV Track and Field State Championship meet, held at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium at The Ohio State University, where he secured a first-place finish in the 1,600-meter event with an impressive time of 4:12.69. His athletic prowess is reflected in his achievements as a long-distance runner, and he can stand proud as a Falcon in his historic sophomore season; and

WHEREAS, Through his participation in running, Brice Fuller has expanded on his growth and accomplishment by preparing diligently for such events as the Division IV Track and Field State Championship meet. Indeed, by implementing his remarkable discipline, perseverance, and hard work on the state level, he has inspired many to challenge themselves to strive for excellence; and

WHEREAS, In a society that encourages individuals to reflect on the merits of advancing one's personal, professional, and recreational endeavors, athletic competition has become a valuable outlet for success. We are happy to congratulate such a fine athlete as Brice Fuller and look with optimism to his bright, promising future; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, extend special recognition to Brice Fuller for his attaining first place in the 1,600-meter event at the 2026 Division IV Track and Field State Championship and count him among the ranks of skilled young Ohioans; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Brice Fuller.
