A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Olmsted Falls Depot and Model Railroad Museum on its Sesquicentennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Olmsted Falls Depot and Model Railroad Museum on its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary, celebrated September 12-13, 2026; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to the Olmsted Falls Depot and Model Railroad Museum, for it has attained a remarkable record of service to the area. Standing as an enduring monument of Olmsted Falls' past and an example of living history, this establishment has become a beloved part of the community, and its many outstanding accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and a superb reflection not only on the institution but also on its caretakers; and

WHEREAS, Since its inception, the Olmsted Falls Depot and Model Railroad Museum has witnessed many changes, and it has reflected the growth of the community over the past century and a half. We are certain that as this worthy institution maintains its unfaltering dedication to service, it will enrich the lives of its visitors and continue in the tradition of excellence that has become its hallmark; and

WHEREAS, An occasion such as this is an important milestone that represents commitment and resolve. Indeed, the stewards of the Olmsted Falls Depot and Model Railroad Museum have preserved this unique piece of the community, and on this special anniversary, they have accepted the challenge of carrying its history into the future; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, celebrate the Olmsted Falls Depot and Model Railroad Museum on its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary and look to the years ahead with optimism; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Olmsted Falls Depot and Model Railroad Museum.
