A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Carton Service on its Centennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Carton Service on its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Since its establishment by Gladys Baker, Herbert Dibble, and Leo Bookmyer in 1926, Carton Service has experienced tremendous growth and success, and it has gained the appreciation of many satisfied customers. It is not surprising that the company has achieved renown, for it has made quality cartons for some of the world's most trusted brands, far surpassing the expectations of its clientele; and

WHEREAS, The notable prosperity of Carton Service is attributable largely to the loyal service of its qualified and committed staff, as well as to the innovation and foresight of its management, including its third-generation owner, Reid Lederer. Their combined efforts have earned the venture a well-deserved reputation for excellence and have distinguished the organization as a worthy enterprise that has contributed greatly to the economic well-being of the Shelby area; and

WHEREAS, Ohio's economic well-being depends on forward-thinking and innovative entrepreneurs to provide goods and services to the citizens of our state. On the celebration of this event, we are proud to note that it is through the diligent efforts of individuals such as all those associated with Carton Service, who are willing to invest in the future of their community, that the State of Ohio remains a pleasant place in which to live; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Carton Service on the occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for continued success in the years to come; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Carton Service.
