A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Kettering Health Dayton on its Centennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Kettering Health Dayton on the celebration of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Dedicated to caring for the health and well-being of the residents of the surrounding area, Kettering Health Dayton has successfully incorporated concern and compassion with technology and professionalism to distinguish itself as an exemplary medical facility. Founded in 1926 by Dr. Frank Dilatush, Dr. Heber Dill, and Dr. William Gravett, the center has experienced tremendous growth and change, becoming one of the longest-running osteopathic teaching hospitals in the country, and despite a century of change, it has remained staunchly committed to maintaining the highest standards of personalized health care delivery; and

WHEREAS, Kettering Health Dayton has continually demonstrated its exemplary commitment to best practices, and it has gained an exemplary reputation as one of the most esteemed teaching hospitals in the nation. Featuring eleven residency programs as well as a fellowship program, it has prepared future generations of physicians while also upholding its dedication to whole-person care, community service, and professional excellence, and clearly, it has achieved a praiseworthy record of achievement; and

WHEREAS, As they gather to celebrate this anniversary, the hard-working management and staff of Kettering Health Dayton have the unique opportunity to reflect on the success of the past and formulate new policies to meet the challenges of the future. Indeed, they have set a shining example of responsible medical practices, gaining the esteem and admiration of many, and they have established the standard to which other such facilities can aspire to emulate; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, salute Kettering Health Dayton on its Centennial and wish it all the best for the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Kettering Health Dayton.
