A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Alexis Miller on being crowned Miss Ohio 2026.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Alexis Miller on being named Miss Ohio 2026; and

WHEREAS, Alexis Miller has brought exceptional ability to all of her endeavors, including her work as a nurse as well as her community service initiative, Take HEART, and as Miss Ohio, she has been entrusted to represent young women throughout the state. Indeed, she has demonstrated a heightened sense of pride in being a role model for future generations, and she is certainly deserving of this title; and

WHEREAS, Alexis Miller's distinctive qualities and engaging personality are invaluable to her reign as Miss Ohio. She has brought enthusiasm, confidence, and intention into promoting her platform, and her record of accomplishment promises to not only be her legacy but to also be a lasting example for Ohioans of all ages to emulate; and

WHEREAS, Alexis Miller can be proud of attaining this high honor, for in channeling her many strengths towards recognition and success, she has established a foundation for excellence rooted in visionary efforts, talent, intellect, and resolve. We are certain that in being named Miss Ohio, she will embody the principles of this distinguished role and accept each challenge as an opportunity for growth and achievement; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, celebrate Alexis Miller as Miss Ohio 2026 and salute her as a fine citizen and an outstanding ambassador for our state; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Alexis Miller.
