A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Lakeview Christian Church on its Centennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Lakeview Christian Church on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this significant milestone is a fitting tribute to Lakeview Christian Church, for over the past century, it has attained a praiseworthy record of service. The achievements of this fine house of worship are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on the church itself but also on its devoted leaders over the years, on its proud members, and on the Green community; and

WHEREAS, The source of many social, religious, and humanitarian projects and programs, Lakeview Christian Church has enhanced the quality of life in the area since its inception in 1926, and its generous contributions have earned it the gratitude and respect of the many citizens it has so capably served. We are certain that in the years to come, the church will maintain the tradition of spiritual enlightenment that has long been its hallmark; and

WHEREAS, The members of Lakeview Christian Church have long been actively involved in, and concerned about, the events in their city and the surrounding area, and this celebration offers them a unique opportunity to share their memories and to reflect on the benefits of life in their close-knit community. All the people in the congregation can, indeed, be proud of their church, for they have built on the best traditions of the past to ensure a peaceful and robust future; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Lakeview Christian Church on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for continued growth and prosperity; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Lakeview Christian Church.
