A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Sergeant Zachary Cline as the 2026 Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Sergeant Zachary Cline on being presented with the 2026 Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year Award by the Ohio National Guard; and

WHEREAS, Sergeant Zachary Cline's impressive credentials readily confirm how very worthy he is of this title. Indeed, while serving in the Ohio National Guard, he has completed his required tasks with efficiency, expertise, and valor, and his staunch commitment, unwavering even under the most adverse conditions, has helped to ensure the overall success of his unit; and

WHEREAS, Currently assigned to the 323rd Military Police Company, 73rd Troop Command, Sergeant Zachary Cline has convincingly demonstrated that he is both ready and willing to face grave dangers in order to protect our people and our way of life. His exemplary performance illustrates his stalwart sense of dedication, and time and again, he has proven himself equal to an array of formidable challenges; and

WHEREAS, It is imperative that we openly express our debt to the patriots who have served honorably in America's armed forces, bearing this country's standard with courage, dignity, and decency; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to Sergeant Zachary Cline on his exemplary service and salute him as a fine Ohioan; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Sergeant Zachary Cline.
