A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Emma Wagner and Saanvi Reddy as the 2026 Division I State Champions in girls doubles tennis.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Emma Wagner and Saanvi Reddy on winning the 2026 Division I State Championship in girls doubles tennis; and

WHEREAS, Emma Wagner and Saanvi Reddy have clearly demonstrated their talent and perseverance, as well as their mental and physical fortitude, and they are deserving of acknowledgement. Senior members of the Mason High School girls tennis team, they have exemplified all of the characteristics that are essential for success both in and out of the sports world, including courage, determination, and an innate sense of the principles of good sportsmanship, and consequently, they won this year's Division I Doubles Championship; and

WHEREAS, Emma Wagner and Saanvi Reddy have conscientiously applied themselves to the quest for excellence as athletes, training and practicing diligently in order to ensure peak conditioning. Time and again, they have risen to the occasion, maintaining their morale, composure, and good sportsmanship, and they have gained the respect of even their most determined rivals; and

WHEREAS, Tennis is a sport that requires exceptional stamina and natural ability, and Emma Wagner and Saanvi Reddy are to be commended for their commitment to this demanding activity. In attaining their athletic goals, they both have consistently exhibited the skill and integrity that are the hallmarks of true champions; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Emma Wagner and Saanvi Reddy as the 2026 Division I State Champions in girls doubles tennis and offer best wishes for continued success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Emma Wagner and Saanvi Reddy.
