A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Unity Spiritual Center on its One Hundredth Anniversary.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Unity Spiritual Center on its Centennial; and

WHEREAS, Since its founding in 1925, Unity Spiritual Center has offered its members the pathway to a more meaningful life by illuminating and demonstrating the progressive precepts on which the center was founded. The spirit of love and Christian fellowship that exists among the parishioners not only prevails within the edifice itself but also extends beyond those sacred walls to touch the lives of everyone encountered by these devout disciples; and

WHEREAS, Under its capable leadership, both past and present, Unity Spiritual Center has experienced continual growth and has provided a source of moral guidance and spiritual motivation for each of its members. Over the years, the church has enhanced the quality of life within Westlake and the surrounding area, and it has engaged in an array of worthwhile activities and projects that have met a number of local needs; and

WHEREAS, An occasion such as this is an important milestone that represents dedication and commitment. For one hundred years, the members of Unity Spiritual Center have kept their faith alive in the community, and on this special anniversary, the congregation has accepted the challenge of carrying its beliefs into the future; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, extend special recognition to Unity Spiritual Center on its One Hundredth Anniversary and pay tribute to all those joining in the celebration of this joyous event; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Unity Spiritual Center.
