A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Logan County Fair on its One Hundred Seventy-fifth Anniversary.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize the Logan County Fair on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundred Seventy-fifth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, The Logan County Fair is deserving of acknowledgement, for its success has made it one of the best summer events for family fun and entertainment in Ohio. The first fair was held in 1850, and from these humble beginnings, it has grown to become an expansive event that has served as a true source of pride over the years; and

WHEREAS, This milestone for the Logan County Fair affords an opportunity for local citizens to showcase their community by featuring a wide variety of food, rides, performances, agricultural and horticultural exhibits, and livestock shows. In providing a fun and exciting atmosphere, the fine people of Logan County have been instrumental to the success of this exemplary annual gathering; and

WHEREAS, The Logan County Fair has become distinguished as one of Ohio’s finest events, and we are certain that as it continues to grow and prosper, it will maintain its unfaltering dedication to advancing the field of agriculture. Indeed, the tradition of excellence that has come to represent the fair has, most assuredly, been the hallmark of this community tradition through the passage of time; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the Logan County Fair on its 2025 season and salute all those who have made this annual celebration such a boon to the area for the past one hundred seventy-five years; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Logan County Fair.
