A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring C.J. Sanna as the 2025 Division I State Discus Champion.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize C.J. Sanna on winning the 2025 Division I State Track and Field Championship in the discus; and

WHEREAS, Displaying exceptional form, ability, leadership, and dedication during the 2025 season, C.J. Sanna certainly distinguished himself as one of the most talented throwers in Ohio. A member of the Olentangy High School track and field team, he prevailed in his event at this year’s Division I State Meet, and he is deserving of the highest praise; and

WHEREAS, Throughout intense training and preparation, C.J. Sanna has consistently demonstrated the talent, integrity, and motivation that are the hallmarks of a true champion. He has inspired his teammates, thrilled his fans, gained the respect of his opponents, and made his coaches, family, and community proud; and

WHEREAS, C.J. Sanna is truly worthy of acknowledgement for the formidable athletic gifts and the competitive spirit that he has so amply revealed throughout this past season. Clearly, he has learned much about excellence as an athlete, and he has made a significant impact on high school track and field in our state; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to C.J. Sanna on his success and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to C.J. Sanna.
