A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist Church on the memorable occasion of its Centennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist Church on its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, For the past one hundred years, Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist Church has served as a tremendous source of spiritual inspiration, and it has encouraged countless individuals to pursue lives of worship, service, learning, and fellowship. The impact this fine institution has had on the community is impossible to quantify, and its contributions to society are truly outstanding; and

WHEREAS, This auspicious celebration offers the members of Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist Church and its pastor, Cory J. Pruitt, the opportunity to share their memories and to reflect on the benefits of life in their close-knit community. The parishioners can be proud that their remarkable example has ensured that the best traditions of the past will shape a future of benevolence and prosperity; and

WHEREAS, Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist Church has stood strong in the face of challenges and has made a positive impact on both the community and the world. This important milestone reflects what can be accomplished by those who project their values and devotion through their faith, and we look with optimism as the church upholds its rich legacy in the years to come; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist Church on its One Hundredth Anniversary and salute all those who have contributed to the longevity of this House of God; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist Church.
