A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Hathaway Brown School on its Sesquicentennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Hathaway Brown School on its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to Hathaway Brown School, for since its establishment in 1875, it has been instrumental in preparing students for the future. With an unwavering commitment to educational excellence, the school has worked diligently to offer students a well-balanced curriculum that seeks to develop their academic and practical skills, and it has earned the gratitude and respect of students, parents, and the community alike; and

WHEREAS, We are certain that in the years to come, the instructors and administrators of Hathaway Brown School will maintain their unfaltering dedication to helping students become capable, well-rounded individuals. As they take part in the celebration of its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary, the school’s students, staff, and alumni can be justly proud of this fine institution; and

WHEREAS, Education is vital to our nation’s continued economic and social well-being, and as the need for global learning and understanding increases, so do the demands placed upon our system of education. Hathaway Brown School has consistently and effectively met these challenges, and it is truly deserving of high praise; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Hathaway Brown School on its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Hathaway Brown School.
