A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Bellbrook Museum Cabin on its Bicentennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Bellbrook Museum Cabin on its Two Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to Bellbrook Museum Cabin, for it has attained a remarkable record of service to the area. Standing as an enduring monument of Bellbrook’s past and an example of living history, the establishment has become a beloved part of the community, and its many outstanding accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and a superb reflection not only on the museum but also on its hard-working staff and volunteers; and

WHEREAS, Since its inception, Bellbrook Museum Cabin has witnessed many changes, and it now reflects the growth of the community over the past two centuries. We are certain that as this worthy institution maintains its unfaltering dedication to service, it will continue in the tradition of excellence that has become its hallmark and has enriched the lives of its visitors; and

WHEREAS, An occasion such as this is an important milestone that represents commitment and resolve. For two centuries, the stewards of Bellbrook Museum Cabin have preserved this unique piece of the community, and on this special anniversary, they have accepted the challenge of carrying this history into the future; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, celebrate Bellbrook Museum Cabin on its Bicentennial and look to the years ahead with optimism; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Bellbrook Museum Cabin.
