A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Herlihy Funeral Home on its One Hundredth Anniversary.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Herlihy Funeral Home on its Centennial; and

WHEREAS, This prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to Herlihy Funeral Home, for throughout the past one hundred years, this fine company has achieved a remarkable record of service to Mansfield and the surrounding area. Providing support, comfort, and dignified ceremonies for its clients, this estimable family-owned endeavor has helped countless people cope with one of the most difficult life experiences by memorializing the passing of a treasured loved one; and

WHEREAS, Since its establishment in 1925 and now spanning four generations of care from the Herlihy family, Herlihy Funeral Home has earned a well‑deserved reputation for compassion and concern in the assistance it provides to bereaved individuals and families. Indeed, we are certain that in the years to come, this pillar of the community will continue in the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; and

WHEREAS, Herlihy Funeral Home has witnessed many changes in the industry over the past century, but it has always maintained its focus on displaying the same professionalism and commitment to outstanding service for which it has become known and respected. We are confident that this exemplary venture will thrive for many more decades to come; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to Herlihy Funeral Home on its One Hundredth Anniversary and salute it as one of Ohio’s finest businesses; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Herlihy Funeral Home.
