A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Order of the Eastern Star Jewel Chapter 20 on its One Hundred Thirtieth Anniversary.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Order of the Eastern Star Jewel Chapter 20 on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundred Thirtieth Anniversary, celebrated September 27, 2025; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to Order of the Eastern Star Jewel Chapter 20, for since its inception one hundred thirty years ago, it has attained a remarkable record of service to the area. Under the jurisdiction of the Amaranth Grand Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star-Prince Hall Affiliated, this association provides opportunities to support a variety of worthy causes, and its accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the group itself but also on its dedicated members, both past and present, and on the Toledo community; and

WHEREAS, Over the past thirteen decades, Order of the Eastern Star Jewel Chapter 20 has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area, and through its generous contributions, it has earned the respect and gratitude of generations of people. We are certain that as this noteworthy organization maintains its unfaltering commitment, it will continue in the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; and

WHEREAS, We are proud to note that it is through the unceasing efforts of entities such as Order of the Eastern Star Jewel Chapter 20 that Ohio has gained a reputation as a state that is responsive to the needs of its citizens and has remained a pleasant place in which to live and work. This fine group is truly deserving of high praise; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Order of the Eastern Star Jewel Chapter 20 on its One Hundred Thirtieth Anniversary and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Order of the Eastern Star Jewel Chapter 20.
