A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Saint Ignatius High School on its One Hundred Fortieth Anniversary.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Saint Ignatius High School on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundred Fortieth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is, indeed, a fitting tribute to Saint Ignatius High School, for throughout the past fourteen decades, it has played a valuable role in preparing countless young men to meet the challenges of the future. With an unwavering commitment to educational excellence, the school has worked diligently to offer scholars a well-balanced curriculum that seeks to develop ultimate academic and practical skills, and it has earned the gratitude and respect of students, parents, and the community alike; and

WHEREAS, Schools provide young people with much more than basic educational opportunities, and we are certain that in the years to come, Saint Ignatius High School will maintain its unfaltering dedication to helping pupils become capable, well-rounded individuals. As SIHS celebrates this special anniversary, the students, staff, and alumni of this fine institution can be justly proud of its accomplishments; and

WHEREAS, Education is vital to our nation’s continued economic and social well-being, and as the need for global learning and understanding increases, so do the demands placed upon the people who uphold our system of education. Over the years, all those associated with Saint Ignatius High School have consistently and effectively met these challenges, and they are deserving of high praise; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Saint Ignatius High School on its One Hundred Fortieth Anniversary and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Saint Ignatius High School.
