A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Kennedy’s Bakery on its Centennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Kennedy’s Bakery on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to Kennedy’s Bakery, for throughout the past century, this fine business has attained a remarkable record of service to the Cambridge area. In 1925, W.A. Kennedy established the business with Bill Kennedy joining the venture a decade later, and today, it is operated by the third generation of the family, Bobby and Patty, who still make all its fare from scratch daily using the same recipes as when it was founded; and

WHEREAS, The success of Kennedy’s Bakery is a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the business itself but also on the astute management of the Kennedy family and on its hard-working employees. This respected enterprise has earned the gratitude of many customers and patrons due to the vision and initiative of its staff, and it is truly deserving of high praise; and

WHEREAS, Over the years, Kennedy’s Bakery has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area. We are certain that as this worthy establishment maintains its unwavering dedication to service and achievement, it will continue to prosper and will uphold the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Kennedy’s Bakery on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Kennedy’s Bakery.
