A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Ohio Soybean Association on its Sixtieth Anniversary.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Ohio Soybean Association on the auspicious occasion of its Sixtieth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to the Ohio Soybean Association, for it has achieved a remarkable record of service throughout the past six decades. Since its inception, this fine organization has been a supportive voice for our state’s soybean farmers, and its commitment to the highest standards of advocacy has been evident in all its endeavors. Clearly, it is deserving of high praise; and

WHEREAS, Over the years, the Ohio Soybean Association has supported local agricultural operations, fostered economic growth, and enhanced the quality of life in our society, and its generous contributions have gained it the gratitude and esteem of the entire state. We are certain that as this noteworthy association maintains its unfaltering dedication to service, it will continue in the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; and

WHEREAS, The accomplishments of the Ohio Soybean Association are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the organization itself but also on its members. We are proud to note that it is through the unceasing efforts of groups such as this that our state has gained a reputation as a pleasant place in which to live and work; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Ohio Soybean Association on its Sixtieth Anniversary and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Ohio Soybean Association.
