A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring College Club West on its Centennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate College Club West on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary, celebrated April 24, 2026; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to College Club West, for since its inception a century ago, it has attained a remarkable record of service to the Rocky River area. Created in 1926, the organization is comprised of women who are college graduates or have nursing degrees, and it offers camaraderie and activities for those with similar interests. The club’s accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the group itself but also on its dedicated members, both past and present, and on the community; and

WHEREAS, Over the past century, College Club West has enhanced the quality of life for Ohioans, and through its various contributions, it has earned the respect and gratitude of generations of people. We are certain that as this noteworthy organization maintains its unfaltering commitment to service, it will continue in the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; and

WHEREAS, We are proud to note that it is through the unceasing efforts of entities such as College Club West that the State of Ohio has remained a pleasant place in which to live and work. This fine group is truly deserving of high praise; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend College Club West on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to College Club West.
