A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Beavercreek High School Air Force JROTC on winning two 2026 U.S. Air Force Open Drill Nationals championships.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the Beavercreek High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps as the overall armed and unarmed champion at the 2026 U.S. Air Force Open Drill Nationals; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Beavercreek High School Air Force JROTC have combined precision, accuracy, endurance, and strength with the highest ideals of duty to establish themselves as a truly exceptional squad. With admirable dedication, the cadets have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in their events, and as a result, they won first place overall in the armed and unarmed divisions of this year’s U.S. Air Force Open Drill Nationals; and

WHEREAS, The achievements of the Beavercreek High School Air Force JROTC are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on the members, their families, their instructors, their school, and their community. This program has, indeed, helped the cadets gain an understanding of leadership and integrity that will aid them in meeting their future challenges; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Beavercreek High School Air Force JROTC are to be commended for their fitness and competitive drive, qualities that have figured prominently in their impressive performances. To their credit, the cadets could always be counted on to demonstrate agility, precision, and exuberance in all of their endeavors; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Beavercreek High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps on its record of attainment and count its members among the ranks of stalwart Ohioans; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Beavercreek High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps.
