A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Olentangy Ozone robotics team as the 2026 FIRST Robotics Ohio State Champion.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Olentangy Ozone robotics team on winning the 2026 FIRST Robotics Ohio State Championship; and

WHEREAS, The students who comprise the Olentangy Ozone robotics team are remarkable young individuals, combining talent and competitive spirit with exceptional knowledge to establish themselves as truly outstanding minds. With commendable dedication, the team members designed, engineered, and programmed a robot, and at this year's FIRST Robotics Ohio State Championship, they secured the state title; and

WHEREAS, Through practice and preparation, the members of the Olentangy Ozone robotics team have displayed determination and motivation of which they can be proud, and the squad's efforts are truly admirable. The enthusiasm and expertise shown by these promising students in all of their endeavors have earned them the respect and esteem of many; and

WHEREAS, The accomplishments of the Olentangy Ozone robotics team are a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection not only on the participants but also on their families, on their coaches, and on the entire community. We are certain that the maturity and experience the students have gained through their success in robotics competitions will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Olentangy Ozone robotics team on its impressive attainment at the 2026 FIRST Robotics Ohio State Championship and extend best wishes for continued achievement; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Olentangy Ozone robotics team.
