A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Chaminade Julienne High School girls track and field team on winning the 2026 Division II State Championship.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Chaminade Julienne High School girls track and field team as the 2026 Division II State Champion; and

WHEREAS, Establishing a reputation for its skill and tenacity, the Chaminade Julienne High School girls track and field team is an impressive group of athletes whose talent and teamwork are unmatched. At the 2026 Division II State Championship meet, the squad seized the title with 44 total points, its first such crown in program history, and this victory will be celebrated for many years to come; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Chaminade Julienne High School girls track and field team rose to the occasion and proved themselves to be a dynamic force in high school sports. Truly, these outstanding athletes can be proud of the accomplishments that were hard-won and deserved throughout the 2026 season; and

WHEREAS, By remaining faithful to the highest standards of sportsmanship and teamwork, the members of the Chaminade Julienne High School girls track and field team primed themselves under the guidance of Coach Terrence Glenn to secure this year's state crown. Indeed, the team members have demonstrated remarkable energy, enthusiasm, and dedication in all of their endeavors; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, recognize the Chaminade Julienne High School girls track and field team on its success and honor the athletes and coaches for their tremendous prowess; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Chaminade Julienne High School girls track and field team.
